Founded in 1994 to offer more youth support locally, TriVillage Mentor League (TVML) is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the central Ohio communities of Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, and Upper Arlington.
Since it’s inception, TVML has done one thing, and that is mentoring. Over the years we have evolved and shifted how our mentoring looks (moving from a partnership with Big Brother/Big Sister to using local high school students to mentor) but reaching out to children has remained steadfast in our vision. TVML is well-respected both by Upper Arlington and Grandview Heights School Districts, and by families within the communities. Our unwavering commitment to our local communities to support our youth is paramount to all we stand for at TVML.
TVML is invested in the communities we serve, which is why we also offer scholarships to deserving senior mentors. We look for ways to support the youth in our community, and to have a presence that fosters the importance of mentoring.
TVML MISSION STATEMENT:
To enrich the lives of students in the Tri-Village area by providing after-school mentorships which foster life-long learning experiences.
TVML VISION STATEMENT:
To improve the lives of high school and elementary students in our communities by providing mentorship opportunities which will empower them to collaborate, build relationships, develop high self-esteem and confidence, through shared learning experiences.
